Nitya is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose work is defined by a distinctive genre of alternative acoustic pop. In her music, she blends warm instrumentation with inspiration drawn from Eastern philosophy and an inner longing for liberation.

Nitya has been dedicated to music since the age of six. Her first steps were piano lessons under the guidance of teacher Lendelová at the Elementary Art School (ZUŠ) in Považská Bystrica. It was she who encouraged Nitya’s love for original creation and gave her special attention. A few years later, Nitya became a self-taught singer and guitarist. Music was an escape from reality, a secret refuge, or a connection with God. There was no question that these musical ideas would ever see the light of day.

The need to share her music with others came during a period of deep spiritual searching and finding answers to questions about the meaning of life through spiritual music and mantras. Nitya spent almost five years living a “monastic” life, studying bhakti yoga philosophy in Vedic temples in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and abroad. This experience strengthened her belief in the unique and healing power of music and clearly defined the direction of her life’s path.

Driven by her enthusiasm for meditative music, she later founded a band with friends focused on the yoga and esoteric scene. Alongside yoga concerts and retreats, she released her first single, “Čas” (“Time”). A year later, the singer embarked on an adventurous solo journey and began producing further original songs (such as Beyond the Stars, Sen, Goodbye, and Clouds of Purple Lights).

Today, Nitya successfully takes part in numerous events and music festivals in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
